InfiRay Tips

How well do you actually know InfiRay’s “Ultra clear” mode?

Have you ever been prevented from going on a hunt in bad weather, such as mist, smog, or other challenging weather conditions, due to the poorer resolution of thermal pictures your thermal tech generated?

  1. Difficulties recognizing with the naked eye
  2. Absence of details and degrees in thermal imager
  3. Poor image quality in terms of contrast and sharpness

The causes for the inferior thermal imaging resolution when employing thermal in various types of weather or circumstances might be due to a variety of factors such as a slight temperature gradient, high humidity levels, higher density of the medium in the atmosphere than on regular days, and so on. These unfavorable variables, which are exacerbated by bad weather, need the employment of thermals with better performance to enable clear thermal imagery.

“Ultra clear” mode in InfiRay

InfiRay Outdoor has developed “Ultra clear” mode in the product line: Rico, EYE II V2.0, Saim, Tube, and Clip C models, in response to the concerns and because supplying consumers with clear thermals is also an unwavering pursuit of InfiRay Outdoor. T he sensor’s reaction rate to changing temperature differences in the surroundings is increased by the growth in NETD value of the thermal sensor incorporated in the devices.

When “Ultra clear” option is in use under challenging conditions, the customer will get superior thermal imaging with more clarity and details than before.

The left image was shot in the unpleasant fog without the “Ultra clear” setting turned on, whereas the right image was taken with the “Ultra clear” mode turned on.

Clearly, we can tell the difference in quality between the thermal pictures created in the two scenarios; one is fuzzy, while the other appears sharp via our necked eye.  What does the InfiRay Outdoor models’ Ultra clear mode accomplish when we want to resume our hunting expeditions or outdoor pursuits despite the weather:

  1. Better identification of detected objects
  2. Increased imaging resolution and levels
  3. Improved imaging quality, with more clear and sharp pictures

Operating instructions are simple.

InfiRay Outdoor not only delivers market-leading thermal advanced technology solutions, but also assist in providing designs that make it easy for people to handle and operate. To enable “Ultra clear” setting on the InfiRay devices (using the E6+ V2.0 as an example), there are only two easy steps:

Step one is to turn on your InfiRay thermal device’s primary menu system.

Step two is to select the EYE icon (which represents the “Ultra clear” setting)  in order to activate the feature.

You can get to the “Ultra clear” Mode in just two steps and experience the thermal superiority that InfiRay Outdoor provides, and get greater imaging resolution and clarity. So, if your gadget has an “Ultra clear” mode, remember to use it while it’s raining!
