The New PULSAR AXION XQ38 LRF

THE NEW LEVEL IN THERMAL OBSERVATION DEVICES
The built-in, precise laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement in two modes:

One-time measurement at the touch of a button and “scan” mode in which the rangefinder measures continuously and gives quick information about the distance in a more dynamic environment

Highly sensitive thermosensor:

The Axion XQ sensor with a resolution of 384 × 288 @ 17 µm with NETD 40mK provides perfect recognition of details even in the most severe weather conditions, when the thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during rain, fog or cold mornings when the most difficult conditions for observations with thermal instruments.

Lightweight and robust magnesium alloy body: The lightweight magnesium alloy body provides high structural rigidity and strength. The light weight of the monocular makes it an ideal option for long transitions when light and comfortable equipment is needed.

Detection range more than 1300 meters: Powerful F38 / 1.2 lens, combined with 384 × 288 @ 17µm high-sensitivity thermal sensor, provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard site with a height of 1.80 m can be found at a distance of up to 1350 m in complete darkness and optimal conditions.

Image Enhancement Technology:

Pulsar’s patented Image Boost technology consists of software algorithms designed to increase image clarity and overall image detail. Image Boost leads to a sharper, contrasting and detailed picture which improves the capabilities of the device.

IPX7 waterproof:

IPX7 waterproof – protection from heavy snow or rain. The appliance is designed to work even after immersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

More features:

Full color, HD AMOLED display. The new HD display provides a crisp, richly contrasting, brightly colored field of view. AMOLED technology delivers flawless, high-resolution images.

B-Pack mini APS5 battery system:

The fast-replaceable high-capacity Li-Ion battery offers 7 hours of operation on a single charge. Quick and easy battery replacement combined with instant start-up ensure continuous monitoring without interruption. A simple power bank connected via a USB Type-C socket can be used as an external power source.

Monitoring modes:

Image optimization should be performed depending on the location of the environment and weather conditions. Mountains, cities and forests have different ambient temperatures. In order to achieve the highest possible image quality, certain settings are optimized and grouped into different profiles. As a result, optimizing images under different conditions is easier.

Color palettes:

8-color palette aids observation in a variety of conditions. While the classic “White Hot” mode is extremely versatile, “Hot Black” is often preferred for detecting objects at night. “Red Monochrome” helps to reduce the bright light from the display. Sepia often improves long-range observation, while Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine improve the temperature differences of different parts of the object’s observations. Violet helps identify objects more quickly.

3.5x to 14x variable digital zoom:

Digital zoom, up to 14x, provides better overall recognition of objects over long distances.
