Quick-release bayonet coupling of adapter and attachment
The thermal imaging attachment is mounted on the adapter using a four-point bayonet. The bayonet coupling is highly reliable and quick and easy to attach. The attachment is removed from one adapter and installed on another with no need for special tools, allowing you to quickly and easily turn various daytime optics in the hunter’s arsenal into thermal imaging optics.
Quick removal and installation on the daytime optics lens
The adapter with the attachment is fixed on the lens of daylight optics by the retainer clip. It takes only a few seconds to remove or install the clips.
Fine positioning of attachment’s screen within the field of view
The position of the attachment’s screen can be adjusted in an optical sight or other daylight optics field of view by means of a specially designed mechanical part. Observation becomes complete, informative and smooth.
Metal Housing
Metal parts are widely used in the design and construction of the PSP-B adapters. The adapter body is milled from aluminum alloy for its high strength and light weight. The screws, retainer clip and pins are manufactured from steel.
Tolerance to temperature extremes
High temperature differences do not affect the operation or performance of the adapter. The adapter can be operated reliably in severe frost conditions without any adjustments when installed indoors.
Durability
The adapter is designed for long service as well as for use with daylight riflescopes mounted on large caliber hunting weapons.
Perfect compatibility with a wide range of daytime optics
With the PSP-B adapter line, Proton and Krypton thermal imaging attachments can now be used with most daytime optical riflescopes (monoculars) with a lens diameter of 40 to 56 mm, as well as riflescopes manufactured in the form of enclosed tubes with a diameter of 30 mm (riflescopes for driven hunting). One of the insert rings supplied with the unit needs to be inserted in the adapter before mounting it on the lens of a daylight optical device (spotting scope, binocular or sight). The ring selection is determined by the outer diameter of the lens housing of the optical device. The moulded plastic rings provide gentle contact and a smooth fit with the day optic and improve the reliability and integrity of mounting.
PSP-30B Ring Adapter
Installation of Proton and Krypton thermal imaging attachments on the front of the riflescopes, which are made in the shape of a tube with a diameter of 30 mm (riflescopes for driven hunting).
PSP-42B Ring Adapter
Installation of Proton and Krypton thermal imaging attachments on the lens body of most riflescopes with an optical diameter of 40–42 mm. Inserts with inner diameters of 46 mm (for mounting the adapter on daytime optics with an outer lens diameter of 46 mm), 46.5 mm (46.5 mm), 47 mm (46.7–47.6 mm), 48 mm (47.7–48.6 mm), 49 mm (48.7–49.6 mm), 50 mm (49.7–50.6 mm) are provided as a standard accessory.
PSP-50B Ring Adapter
Installation of Proton and Krypton thermal imaging attachments on the lens body of most riflescopes with an optical diameter of 50 mm. Inserts with an inner diameter of 51.6 mm (for mounting the adapter on daytime optics with an outer lens diameter of 51.6 mm), 53.4 mm (53.4 mm), 55 mm (54.7–55.6 mm), 56 mm (55.7–56.6 mm), 57 mm (56.7–57.6 mm), 58 mm (57.7–58.6 mm), 59 mm (58.7–59.6 mm) are provided as a standard accessory.
PSP-56B Ring Adapter
Installation of Proton and Krypton thermal imaging attachments on the lens body of most riflescopes with an optical diameter of 56 mm.
Inserts with an inner diameter of 60 mm (for mounting the adapter on daytime optics with an outer lens diameter of 59.7 – 60.6 mm), 61 mm (60.7 – 61.6 mm), 62 mm (61.7 – 62.6 mm), 63 mm (62.7 – 63.6 mm), 64 mm (63.7 – 64.6 mm), 65 mm (64.7 – 65.6 mm) are provided as a standard accessory.
