ThermTec Ibex 635L Thermal Riflescope with Laser Rangefinder

ThermTec Ibex 635L is a thermal imaging riflescope for hunting and wildlife observation. It combines a 640 × 512 thermal sensor, NETD <18 mK sensitivity and a 35 mm F0.8 objective lens. The integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,000 m, while the manufacturer specifies a thermal detection range of up to 1,800 m.

The Ibex 635L features 2.2× base magnification, 1× to 4× digital zoom and a 0.5 inch AMOLED display with 1600 × 1200 resolution. ThermTec AutoSight System, AI calibration and a built in ballistic calculator support observation, distance assessment and aiming.

640 × 512 Thermal Sensor with NETD <18 mK

The ThermTec Ibex 635L combines a 640 × 512 detector with thermal sensitivity below 18 mK. This specification describes the sensor’s ability to distinguish small temperature differences.

The 35 mm F0.8 lens and 50 Hz refresh rate support detailed thermal viewing and smooth movement on screen. Image visibility depends on the temperature contrast between the subject and its surroundings.

2.2× Base Magnification and Digital Zoom

The Ibex 635L provides 2.2× base magnification and digital zoom from 1× to 4×. Its field of view measures 12.5° × 10°, equivalent to approximately 21.9 × 17.6 m at a distance of 100 m.

Digital zoom enlarges the displayed image for closer inspection. Thermal Super Resolution processing supports image detail during magnified viewing.

Integrated 1,000 m Laser Rangefinder

The built in laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,000 m. It integrates into the scope housing and provides distance information directly through the device.

The laser measurement range and thermal detection range describe separate capabilities. The stated 1,800 m detection distance does not represent an animal identification distance.

ThermTec AutoSight System

ThermTec AutoSight System, also called TASS, automatically returns the scope from higher digital zoom to minimum magnification after a shot. This restores a wider view for observing movement.

TASS requires recoil activated video, also called RAV, to be enabled.

1600 × 1200 AMOLED Display

The 0.5 inch AMOLED display presents thermal images at 1600 × 1200 resolution. You can choose a square or circular viewing format through the device settings.

These formats change how the scope presents the image. The thermal sensor resolution remains 640 × 512.

Central Focus Control and AI Calibration

The central focusing system provides an accessible control for adjusting image sharpness during observation.

ThermTec AI Calibration adapts image correction to changing environmental conditions and reduces the need for frequent calibration interruptions.

Built in Ballistic Calculator

The ThermTec Ibex 635L includes a ballistic calculator to support aiming corrections based on distance and the ballistic data you enter. Its output depends on accurate profile settings and distance measurements.
