Dedal D-480 is zowel een krachtig als compact nachtapparaat. De robuuste cermet body zet de EOP-pa stevig vast, waardoor hij geschikt is voor groot kaliber werk (.375 H&H, .50BMG). De meetschaal van het apparaat is Mill-dot, waarmee de afstand tot het doel kan worden berekend met behulp van de afmetingen. Het schakelmechanisme bevindt zich aan de linkerkant en dat voor het scherpstellen van de lens bevindt zich in het bovenste deel van het lichaam. Het model maakt gebruik van een LED, instelbaar in vermogen en de mogelijkheid om de ingebouwde IR-projector in de straal te verspreiden en te concentreren, wat veilig is voor het gezichtsvermogen.<\/p>\n
